Tips for a clean signature
- Sign on plain white paper with a ballpoint or gel pen in the colour your form asks for. Most ask for black.
- Don't sign in capital letters. Most exam bodies reject that.
- Take the photo in daylight, held flat and from directly above, so there's no shadow.
Questions people ask
Why does my signature look grey or dirty?
Phone photos pick up shadows on paper. Keep "Clean up background" switched on, which turns the paper white and darkens the ink while keeping its colour.
Can I use a digital signature drawn on screen?
Most exam portals ask for a signature made with a pen on paper. Check your notification before using anything else.
